Former Wanna One member Lai Kuanlin sets up Instagram account

Following in the footsteps of fellow members Kang Daniel and Yoon Jisung, Wanna One's Lai Kuan Lin is the latest to create an Instagram account, to the joy of fans around the world.
Using the handle @official_lai_kuanlin, the Taiwan-born idol took the chance on Monday (Jan 7) to wish his fans worldwide a "Happy New Year" in different languages.
He also shared a few pictures from his trip to Australia and comforted fans with encouraging messages.

After placing seventh in the popular reality show Produce 101 Season 2, the 17-year old debuted in Wanna One. Though the group had a short promotion contract lasting only 1.5 years, they received much love regionally and abroad, accomplishing a world tour in six months.
Since the end of the group's contract on December 31, fans have been excited about the future plans of each member.
While bandmate Kang Daniel recently became the world record holder for the fastest account to reach 1 million followers under 12 hours, Kuan Lin gained 300,000 followers and counting at the time of writing.
According to the South China Morning Post, the rising star is rumoured to be trying his hand at acting with a role in China. He is reported to start his individual activities in China this month and fans can expect to see him hit the small screens soon.
