Hannah Quinlivan quotes hubby Jay Chou's lyrics in love letter to him

May 20 in Chinese culture is a day couples express their love for each other, as the numbers "520" sound like "I love you" in Chinese.

Yesterday, Hannah Quinlivan took the chance to send her love to husband Jay Chou while urging her fans to do the same to those they cherish.

"I heard that this heartwarming day will not be wasted only if one confesses love. I hope that the person reading this will receive happiness and bliss," wrote the Taiwanese actress-model on Weibo.

Hannah accompanied the post with photos of herself and Jay, and a handwritten love letter with the lyrics to the Mandopop king's 2016 hit Love Confession.

"Of course, I did not forget to write a love letter to confess to all of you. If you have anything to tell me, you are welcome to write back to me to confess," she added.

The 25-year-old ended the letter with "Happy 520".

Fans left comments saying that they feel "envious" and find "Hannah's handwriting so cute".

There were also some who gave a shout-out to Jay, asking him to enjoy family time first and not rush out an album.

His last album, Jay Chou's Bedtime Stories, was released three years ago.

Hannah and Jay married in 2015 and have two children - daughter Hathaway and son Romeo.
