Hong Kong actress Fung Bo Bo breaks nose in accident

It was a holiday gone wrong for veteran Hong Kong actress Fung Bo Bo.

While she was on a vacation in Bangkok with her son in July, both parent and child got into a car accident on the freeway. According to Hong Kong media, the car even flipped over.

They were rushed to the hospital and both parties sustained minor injuries, with Bo Bo suffering a broken nose.

Bo Bo was hospitalised but requested to be discharged after a day so she could continue her trip.

It took her an additional four days to recover to the point where her doctor cleared her to travel. Along with her son, Bo Bo then flew to Kuala Lumpur to get her nose fixed.

It was reported that she was hospitalised for five days and her recovery took around three weeks. After which, she returned home to Penang.

On July 20, Bo Bo made her first public appearance since the surgery at the Malaysia Golden Global Awards (MGGA) where she presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to her good friend and actor Sammo Hung.

Based on the photo taken, it would seem that she is recovering quite nicely.
