TWS connect with fans through heartfelt chats, 7-song encore at 1st Singapore concert

PUBLISHED ONOctober 12, 2026 9:53 AMBYEsther LamIt might have been their first concert in Singapore but young K-pop boy band TWS (pronounced 'two-us') took to the stage with the confidence of a seasoned act.
The six-member group — comprising Shinyu, who turns 23 next month, Dohoon and Youngjae, both 21, Hanjin and Jihoon, both 20, and Kyungmin, 19 — debuted in January 2024 and performed at Arena @ Expo for their second tour 24/7:For:You on Saturday (Oct 10).
Blazing through a 19-song setlist, TWS kept the energy levels high throughout the nearly three-hour show, commanding the stage with their energetic performances and explosive choreography from start to finish.
Before the show, all I knew about TWS was a handful of trending songs such as Overdrive (2025) and Plot Twist (2024). But by the end of the night, the sextet had left a lasting impression on me, with youngest members and main dancers Jihoon and Kyungmin particularly catching my eye with their infectious energy and powerful performances.
After a fiery opening with Hey! Hey! (2024), Countdown! (2025), Overdrive and Lucky To Be Loved (2025), the members paused for a brief introduction.
On whether they had prepared anything for the show, Dohoon showed off his banter in English: "I've been working on my English... Pretty good, right? Thank you for coming to our concert, let's have fun tonight!"
Meanwhile, Kyungmin revealed that he had dyed his hair brown, joking that some of the colour had already faded.
TWS also kept 42s (fandom name) actively engaged throughout the night. During the Otshow Otshow segment — a special tradition encouraging fans to dress up and show off their outfits — photos of stylish concertgoers appeared on screen.
Dohoon and Jihoon then selected their favourite looks and tried to spot the fans in the crowd.
One of the night's more memorable fan interaction moments came before You, You (2026) when the members gave 42s a quick tutorial on how to wave their light sticks during the song and the sea of moving lights turned the audience into part of the performance itself.
Beyond their group releases and B-sides, TWS also broke out into three distinct unit performances. Jihoon and Kyungmin took the stage for the unreleased song Shift, setting an explosive bar as the opening duo.
They proved themselves as powerhouse performers during a high-octane dance break, where a spotlight locked onto them as they executed intense choreography with jaw-dropping precision.

In stark contrast, Youngjae and Hanjin shifted to a softer tone as they took the stage for All Along and stripped away choreography, allowing their vocals to shine.
The two later revealed during a talking segment that the emotional ballad was composed by the members and reflects their time as trainees.

Dressed in matching sleek all-black outfits and sunglasses, leader Shinyu and centre Dohoon took the stage for the final How Did You Do That, looking so alike that I almost couldn't tell them apart at first glance.
Surrounded by club-like lasers and heavy electronic beats, the pair brought pure swagger and sharp rap flows to the stage.

For their final talking segment, the members opened up with candid, heartfelt messages for their fans.
Hanjin started off by sharing that he had long wanted to travel to Singapore but hadn't had the time. However, he expressed how happy he was to meet 42s here.
Echoing similar sentiments, Shinyu warmly expressed his gratitude to 42s, admitting that while he had hoped to explore Singapore and try local delicacies such as chilli crab, their tight schedule — including his appearance on Inkigayo the next day — meant a quick turnaround.
Youngjae also admitted that he had been endlessly busy preparing for their comeback and experienced burnout, but the energy from fans brought him instant comfort.
Kyungmin confessed he was initially nervous about whether TWS had fans in Singapore, but those doubts vanished once he took the stage to a packed crowd.
"Although it was just a one-day show, thank you 42s for making such unforgettable memories with us. I want to come here again and again," he said. "Today is such a perfect day to me."
Sharing similar thoughts, Jihoon revealed that he typically keeps his expectations low when preparing for a show, and the Singapore show was no exception.
"I really didn't expect that it would come with (such) big love and big support," he said. "You guys made the most precious memories in my life. I cannot express how grateful I am to you guys."
With the year coming to an end, he encouraged fans to tick off the items in their bucket lists and "do whatever you want", adding that performing here was a goal he finally achieved.
Meanwhile, Dohoon set his sights on the future, sharing how great it would be to return to Singapore at an even bigger venue.
Even after blazing through a 19-song main set, TWS weren't ready to say goodbye — and neither were their fans.
Refusing to let the night end, the group rewarded the fired-up crowd with a massive seven-song encore, featuring a double performance of Hey! Hey!, alongside fan favourites Why You So Bad (2026), Hot Blue Shoes (2025), Double Take (2024), Overdrive and Fire Confetti (2024).
The group is set to perform next in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on Oct 24 before releasing their second single album and music video on Nov 2.
