Catch Hong Kong singers Jacky Cheung, Eason Chan along with international stars like Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez and Elton John in this 'One World Together at Home' mega event, created to support frontline healthcare workers and the World Health Organisation (WHO) in their battle against Covid-19.
The six-hour digital livestream (which began at 2am on Sunday, Singapore time) followed by a two-hour special event is organised by WHO and advocacy group Global Citizen, curated in collaboration with Lady Gaga. It will feature a combination of music, comedy and also stories from Covid-19 frontliners.
Some of the world's biggest musical artists will be there, including Taylor Swift, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Paul McCartney, Sam Smith, Alicia Keys, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Stevie Wonder and many more.
Asian celebrities in the lineup include Chinese concert pianist Lang Lang, South Korean pop group SuperM, Emirati singer Hussain Al Jassmi, Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka, Indian actors Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
Other international stars like Oprah Winfrey, Idris Elba, Samuel L. Jackson, Lewis Hamilton and David Beckham will also be lending their star power to the event.
The main show, which will also be televised in Singapore on Mediacorp's Channel 5 at 8am, is hosted by television comedians Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel.
