Creative Strategist (Digital Amplification & Digital Strategy)

AsiaOne is looking for a Creative Strategist to join its Digital Amplification & Digital Strategy team.

As a Creative Strategist, you are responsible for the media company's social media presence, not only optimising the amplification of other teams' content, but actively creating original native content.

You think outside the box and find ways to connect with the audience through your copywriting and impactful visual/graphic content.

Working on the front line, you set the tone for AsiaOne's off centre, on trend DNA.

You have a flair for engaging directly with our users, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and adapt well to changes.

You are a creative, a journalist and a marketer all in one.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Singapore Citizens/Permanent Residents
  • 1-2 years of experience in social media management is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Diploma or Degree in Communications or Graphic Design

Responsibilities

  • Research, conceptualise and create content for social media (e.g. memes, infographics, short video edits)
  • Platform management for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. (i.e. monitoring, moderating, publishing, curating, analysing and strategising)
  • Shoot and produce short-form videos for TikTok at press events and media previews

Requirements

  • Strong command of the English language
  • Resourceful and creative, able to work well both independently or as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Active on social media - familiar with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
  • Able to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays
  • Demonstrable understanding of social analytics tools and platforms (e.g. Google Analytics and Facebook Insights)
  • Proficiency with any graphic design tool (from Canva to Photoshop) and video editing tool (from iMovie to Premiere Pro)
  • Bonus if you have experience working in digital media publications, or are comfortable being on camera
