10 new and updated Audi models will arrive in 2022, including the highly anticipated Audi SQ7 and SQ8 models that are available for the first time in Singapore.
As part of Audi's further expansion into Singapore's premium high-performance vehicles market, the marque will also be introducing new offerings, such as the Audi e-tron S, and new engines in the Audi Q5 and Q5 Sportback.
This is in line with Audi's vision of progressive luxury and future mobility. The performance of this new lineup of Audi vehicles is astounding as they aim to raise their bar of standard and broaden Audi's appeal in Singapore.
1. Audi SQ7 and SQ8 4.0 TFSI (Q1 2022)
For the first time, Audi is offering the Sports variant of the Audi Q7 and Q8 models. The vehicle features high-tech suspension components along with advanced connectivity and assistance functions.
The robust twin-turbocharged 4.0L TFSI is double the size of the base Q7 and Q8 models resulting in an output of 500hp and 770Nm of torque.
4.1 seconds is the time it takes to reach 100km/h from a standstill. Both the SQ7 and SQ8 run on an eight-speed automatic transmission with an all-wheel-drive setup.
The SQ7 features an athletic exterior, seating seven people. An updated front grille along with signature S wheels are among some of the goodies. The SQ8 on the other hand is a five-seater with an aerodynamic coupe-like rear end.
Both vehicles effectively uphold Audi's reputation for building high performance S models.
2. Audi RS 3 Sportback and RS 3 Sedan (H1 2022)
The RS 3 models offer top-tier performance that raises the bar of standard in the premium compact high-performance category.
Powered by a 2.5L turbocharged Inline-five engine and coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, it generates a staggering 395hp and accelerates to 100km/h in 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of 290km/h.
That is unparalleled performance in the compact segment.
Additionally, Audi has innovated its first torque splitter for the cars, allowing for better lateral dynamics and stability.
3. Audi E-Tron S Sportback (H1 2022)
Futuristic and dynamic. Two words to describe the E-Tron S Sportback. As Audi's first fully electric S model, this vehicle hits the mark of what Audi is trying to achieve.
A modern and eco-friendly EV, it features enhanced vehicle safety and dynamics.
Powered by three electric motors, with two built into the rear axle, it generates 370 kW of boost power with 973 Nm of torque.
It also achieves the century sprint in 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 210km/h, cementing its status as a high-performance EV.
Additionally equipped with torque vectoring, the e-Tron S Sportback provides active and fully variable torque vectoring on its rear axle, allowing for a more comfortable ride.
The battery can be fully charged in 45 minutes and a single charge has a maximum range of 413km.
4. Audi R8 V10 Performance RWD (H1 2022)
Audi's most popular Performance Car model has just received an upgrade in 2022, with revised sporty, new cutting-edge technology as well as adding 30hp to the previous model.
Boasting awe-inspiring specs, the 2022 R8 Performance model generates 570hp and 550Nm of torque. 0-100km/h can be achieved in a mere 3.3 seconds, topping out a speed of 328km/h.
The exterior build is characterised by its aerodynamic design coupled with low centre-of-gravity to enhance its elite performance.
The two models will be available as a Coupe or Spyder.
5. Audi S8 (H2 2022)
The latest model in the Audi S series lives up to expectations. Combining high-performance and aesthetic design, the S8 is a powerful luxury vehicle to own.
This sporty luxury sedan features predictive active suspension, Quattro with sports differential, and dynamic all-wheel steering. A comfortable interior boosts the luxurious ambience within the car.
Its twin-turbo V8 engine generates a whopping 571hp, 800Nm of torque and accelerates to 100km/h in 3.8 seconds. It's capable of achieving a top speed of 250km/h.
6. Audi A8 Range (H2 2022)
The improved Audi A8 and A8L will be available next year in both V6 and V8 engine options, providing more options for buyers to purchase what suits them the best.
The V6 (3.0 TFSI) has an output of 340hp and 500Nm. 0-100km/h acceleration is completed in just 5.9 seconds with a top speed of 241km/h.
The V8 (4.0 TFSI), on the other hand, boasts 460hp and 660Nm of torque, Achieving 0-100km/h in a mere 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 250km/h.
7. Audi Q5 and Q5 Sportback (H2 2022)
The Audi Q Range prioritises practicality and performance, as exemplified by the Q5 and Q5 Sportsback.
Packed under the hood is a 2.0L turbocharged inline-four engine that generates 249Nm and 370 Nm of torque. Not bad for an SUV.
Sprinting to 100km/h takes 7.6 seconds with a top speed of 233km/h.
The engine is coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and power is evenly distributed with Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
