BYD's latest lifestyle and F&B space at Punggol serves up in-house roasted coffee, ceremonial-grade matcha and more

PUBLISHED ONAugust 08, 2025 3:44 AMBYBen ChiaBYD by 1826, the lifestyle and F&B brand of Chinese carmaker BYD, has opened its latest experiential hub at Punggol.
The new lifestyle space, which is located on the first floor of Waterway Point, features a cafe as well as BYD cars on display for customers keen to check out the brand's latest range of cars.
What sets the Punggol outlet apart from the BYD by 1826's other locations though is its emphasis on premium beverages, such as its in-house roasted specialty coffee and ceremonial-grade matcha and houjicha drinks.

There is also a live roasting station, where customers can witness the staff roasting coffee up close, and bring home seasonally curated coffee beans, freshly roasted to order.
Like all BYD by 1826 outlets, customers who are interested in test driving the cars can approach the staff, who will be on hand to assist.

The Punggol location is BYD by 1826's first in the heartlands, and fifth overall, joining its other locations at Suntec City, Balestier, Boat Quay and Tanjong Pagar. BYD by 1826 adds that it intends to expand to 10 locations by next year, with the next outlet slated to open at IMM in Jurong East by the end of this year.
