Is your dream job to get paid to sleep? Mattress store Woosa can make that come true.

In social media posts on July 28, the mattress specialist shared that they are looking for people to take a snooze on their beds during their roadshow from Sept 8 to 14.

"Earn up to $3,000 just by lounging in bed, because we believe that rest should be just as rewarding," they wrote.

Woosa shared that they previously had "live dreamers" sleep on their beds at Suntec City, Jurong Point and Waterway Point.

They did not share where this upcoming roadshow will be held.

However, not everyone who is interested will make the cut.

Those keen will need to sign up for the job through a link in Woosa's bio.

Selected candidates will be invited for a short in-person interview.

In response to AsiaOne's queries, a spokesperson from Woosa shared that they are looking for "individuals with a unique or interesting story to share about their relationship with sleep".

The mattress specialist shared that while they have always had their own signature Sleeping Beauty models — otherwise known as dreamers — at pop-ups, it is their first time having an open casting call inviting members of the public to potentially be their next Dreamer.

"By paying our Dreamers to sleep, we hope to underscore one of our core messages: That sleep deserves to be valued and should receive as much care and attention as any other part of our lives," said the spokesperson.

The level of participation from each candidate would depend on their personal availability.

"For instance, if there are Dreamers that are free during the entire duration of the pop up, we are more than happy to have them be a part of the showcase. However, we are also open to having Dreamers on a part-time basis, i.e four hours per day," shared Woosa.

Earlier in July, lifestyle furniture retailer Yogibo also put out a hiring notice for nappers

Those selected would need to sleep on the brand's beanbags for approximately two to three hours a day in the afternoon and will be paid $7 per hour to do so.

Yogibo had told AsiaOne that the goal of the campaign is to promote "the value of rest as a part of daily life".
