Porsche Singapore has said that the 1971 Porsche 917 KH race car has been flown in to Singapore, straight from the Porsche Museum in Zuffenhausen.

Transported on a specially decorated flatbed truck, the race car travelled through Singapore for a one-day photography tour, appearing against a series of distinctively local backdrops and presented across familiar city perspectives such as Chinatown and the Central Fire Station along Hill Street.

The tour concluded at Capella Singapore at Sentosa, where the 917 was photographed against the restored Tanah Merah colonial building facade.

And Porsche Singapore has said that visitors will be able to see this piece of history at a special display at Porsche at Jewel.

The car will also make another appearance at the upcoming 2026 Raceborn Fest that will take place from Oct 9 to 11 at Porsche Studio Singapore in Guoco Midtown, before heading back to Jewel again.

At the Raceborn Fest event, the car will be showcased alongside the new Porsche 911 Challenge, which makes its Southeast Asian premiere at the event and introduces a new entry point into the world of Porsche Motorsport.

In addition, eventgoers can also look forward to a special announcement regarding Porsche Experience Centre Singapore, the upcoming regional destination scheduled to open in 2027.
