Disabled Foodpanda rider climbs 14 floors to deliver fried chicken in KL

You'd never know when a chance encounter with a stranger may change your perspective on life.
With food delivery service just a tap away nowadays, most of us reach for our phones when hunger strikes.
Feeling lazy on Sunday (July 17), Baliami Conmigo from Kuala Lumpur ordered two pieces of fried chicken through Foodpanda.
When the deliveryman was reaching the destination, he called Baliami to ask which floor his unit was on.
He asked Baliami, who lived on the 14th floor, to wait for a moment as he climbed the stairs from the 13th floor.
The lift had broken down.
When Baliami opened the door, he was surprised by the sight of the deliveryman who had only one leg.
The rider also apologised for being a little late.

In a Facebook post that has since gone viral, Baliami wrote that he was overcome with emotions and decided to give the deliveryman some extra cash as a tip.
An eight-second long clip that accompanied the post showed the man hobbling away on crutches after delivering the meal.
Baliami wrote: "There are so many people out there that are working hard to support their families."
"People with special needs are stronger than us while we are choosy and lazy. Shouldn't we all be ashamed of ourselves?"
In an interview with Harian Metro, the deliveryman, whose name is Amri, said that he didn't think that the video clip would go viral online.
He said that he lost his right leg in a traffic accident 22 years ago and with the recent closure of his company, Amri had to look for a new job.
It's difficult for a person his age and condition to find a job, the 42-year-old said.
So, he turned to making food deliveries four months ago.
Even though his mother voiced concerns about his new job, the dad of three told her he would do whatever he could to support the family.
"I'll be happy if my story can encourage others who are in similar situations," he added and thanked customers and members of the public for their support.
