Malaysian police arrested a 17-year-old boy on Wednesday (Jan 17) after his father was found dead in their double-storey house in Skudai.

According to New Straits Times, the teen had learnt of his father's infidelity and confronted the 45-year-old man.

He is believed to have stabbed him in the chest during a scuffle in the master bedroom.

A toppled clothes rack and a bed in disarray showed signs of a struggle but there were no missing items or any sign of a break-in, Iskandar Puteri district police chief Noor Hashim Mohamad said.

A blood trail showed that the injured man had travelled from the master bedroom to the living room where his body was later found.

The police also arrested the boy's mother, who is believed to have abetted the murder, as well as the teen's friend.
