THESE ARE REAL SITUATIONS

Read on to challenge yourself on what to do in these situations.

It’s not always that simple to discern when to call 995, but for non-emergencies like fever, flu, toothaches, diarrhoea or slight burns, you can seek treatment from general practitioners (GPs) or self-medicate with over-the-counter medicine.

If you are unsure of where to go, you can call NurseFirst helpline at 6262 6262 where trained nurses will advise you on the appropriate healthcare options, based on the severity of your symptoms.

Likewise, you can also arrange for a private hire vehicle or private ambulance, if a visit to your choice of hospital is required.
