Wait, she's Chinese? Yes, Dilraba is of Uyghur ethnicity, a Turkic group who live in Xinjiang, China.

Her boss and mentor is A-list actress Yang Mi. Fresh out of Shanghai Theatre Academy, Dilraba was swiftly signed by Yang's Jay Walk Studio.
