The cult Korean makeup brand fronted by popular makeup artist Park Hye Min, better known as Pony has finally landed on our shores.
Boasting an incredible following of 5.2 million on Instagram (@ponysmakeup) and over 4 million on her Youtube channel (Pony Syndrome), Pony isn't a force to be reckoned with in the Korean beauty industry.
Fun fact: she also happens to be the makeup artist for CL, from the now defunct South Korean girl group 2NE1.
At just 26 years old, Pony didn't just amass a substantial amount of fame and clout, she even built a beauty empire with her own makeup line called "Pony Effect" following the success and popularity of her makeup collaboration with global cosmetics company "Memebox."

Not only did Pony Effect launch successfully, there was an avalanche of positive reviews online, with products like the "Stay Fit Matte Lip" liquid lipsticks and foundations flying off the shelves.
All this, in spite of a steeper price range compared to other Korean roadshop brands.

This Seoul-based brand was previously only in stores in South Korea and only certain online shopping sites.
In Singapore, online retailers like Lazada and Airfrov stocked a selection of products.
But if you are like us and prefer browsing in brick and mortar stores, you'll be glad to know that Pony Effect makeup is coming to selected Watsons stores here and Singapore is the brand's first foray into the Southeast Asian market.
To give you a head start, here are all of the products that will be available here in Singapore.
Pony Effect will be available at Watsons Bugis Junction and www.watsons.com.sg on June 21, and at Watsons ION Orchard, Watsons NEX, and Watsons JEM from July 2018.
