Halloween parties have already kicked off, and if you've just been invited to one at the last-minute and have absolutely nothing to wear, don't panic.

We've done the footwork for you to scour Daiso and H&M-which are found everywhere, as well as Don Don Donki, which is open for 24 hours. Now all you have to do is shop.

Here's a list of costume ideas you can pick up on your way to the party!

Shops to hit for last-minute Halloween outfits

  • The 24-hour convenience store has an array of affordable costumes that are certainly unique. As cheap as $19.90 for a Black Nurse costume, to $39.90 for an eye-catching silver alien costume, you'll be sure to stand out from the crowd.
  • Star Wars fans, you're in luck! Their Star Wars masks bear an uncanny resemblance to your favourite characters, right down to every wrinkle. This Halloween you can go as Chewbacca, Yoda, Darth Maul, Kylo Ren or even C-3PO, for only $29.95. And the best part? All these characters wear monochromatic colours, so you just have to wear black, brown or gold depending on the character!
  • While clowns are seriously old school, they've made a scary comeback with the movie, IT. All you'll need is a red wig for $12.90 and red lipstick. Just draw a line across your eyes, connecting your lips to your forehead, for that menacing smile.
  • Onesies are the most comfortable costumes you'll wear and you're sure to use them more than once. You can dress as Doraemon, Gloomy Bear, Gachapin or Kumamon for $49.80, and go from party to bed in mere seconds. It's certainly our top pick for the next party.
  • Speaking of onesies, H&M has come out with these ones that are super soft! Go as Hello Kitty, a magical unicorn or, our personal choice, Kermit The Frog. Dressing up your favourite meme for just $35 would be a steal!
  • H&M has come to our rescue with these super cute Halloween pieces that are affordable yet don't look like you spent a night glueing it together. Go as a sweet Minnie Mouse or a sexy Pierrot for just $35, and make heads turn. Pair them with a pair of Minnie Mouse ears or a bowler hat to complete the looks!
  • Get Insta-ready with these gorgeous jumpsuits, that have that little bit of extra we all could use. Whether it's the dead or Bambi, these outfits will make any girl feel like a million bucks, for just $35. Make yours a little more unique by dripping some fake blood all over for a gruesome take on the outfit.
  • Instagram beauty gurus have made it pretty much impossible to recreate those gorgeous looks, but this sticker will leave people not knowing the difference. Just stick them to your mobile eyelid and under-eyes to look just like a fairy princess. To elevate the look, just apply a light wash of yellow eye-shadow before putting on the stickers.
  • This is the easiest costume ever! If you're running out the door, just pick up a black scarf to tie around your neck like a cape and you'll be good to go.
  • There has been an increased use of special effects used in Halloween looks this year, and while they are a refreshing addition to those boring mermaid looks, most of us don't have the materials to recreate them. Daiso has heard our cries and made these fool-proof adhesive wounds that'll have you looking like the walking dead. Just paint yourself a light wash of green, with face paint and wear every ripped clothing you have.
