Mirren proves, yet again, that you can look amazing at any age. The British actress oozes elegance and sleekness in this interesting navy body-hugging gown.

The contrast panels on the sides and arms are especially slimming and flattering.

Wearing an unidentified lace dress at the opening night after-party for the Broadway show, The Audience, in New York last month (right in picture).

Perhaps she was taking inspiration from The Queen, who she is playing in a new Broadway play. The usually polished actress looks surprisingly dowdy here. The pearl necklace clashes with the lace neckline and the black shoulder straps look like bra straps under the sheer overlay.

The ill-fitting skirt and weird hemline do not help.
