Compensation for man who found nail in beer

INDIA - A man from Tamil Nadu received Rs30,000 (S$608) in compensation for being served a beer in which a nail was found. The man had fallen ill after drinking the beer. A district consumer court had ordered the state-government run Tamil Nadu Marketing Corporation liquor outlet, which served him the beer, to pay the man the compensation.
