Thailand’s Shannon “OneShin” Wiratchai needed little time to bring an end to his lightweight clash at ONE: IRON WILL on Saturday, 24 March.
In front of his hometown crowd at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, the Thai knocked out Rahul “The Kerala Krusher” Raju with a beautiful right hook just 21 seconds into the contest.
To open up the first stanza, the casual Wiratchai backed up, and tested the distance as Raju pressed forward with a jab. Then, the Thai threw an absolutely precise right hook at “The Kerala Krusher,” which flattened him instantly.
Referee Yuji Shimada did not need to see any more, and neither did “OneShin,” who walked away right after the punch landed.
The end was called at 21 seconds. The win not only elevated Wiratchai’s record to 9-2 (1 NC), but it also gave him the second-fastest knockout victory in the lightweight division’s history.
