TOKYO — An earthquake of magnitude five hit the greater Tokyo region, authorities said on Wednesday (April 1), shaking buildings in the capital, but prompting no tsunami warning.
The epicentre in the Ibaraki region was 50km deep, the Japan Meteorological Agency added.
