Apple launches iPhone 12 service programme for no sound issues

Apple just announced a service programme for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro owners who experience sound issues.
On its support page, Apple shared that a very small percentage of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro devices may experience sound issues due to a component that might fail on the receiver module.
When the component fails on the receiver module, the affected iPhone 12 device does not emit sound from the receiver during calls.
It is important to note that the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max models are not part of the service programme. Affected devices were manufactured between October 2020 and April 2021.
If you're experiencing sound issues on your iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro, it may be eligible for service. You can head down to any Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider for servicing, free of charge.
