Dylan Wang responds cheekily to genital enlargement rumours in variety show, fans' cheers leave him blushing

PUBLISHED ONSeptember 30, 2026 8:44 AMBYYeo Shu HuiDylan Wang recently returned to film Chinese variety show Hello Saturday, months after stepping away temporarily to star in romantasy drama series Empress Reborn.
One of his fans — known collectively as Xiong Di Huo — was an audience member at the show's recording at a Hunan television studio yesterday (Sept 29) and recounted in a Xiaohongshu post what the Chinese actor-singer said.
The first thing Dylan, who turns 28 in December, reportedly told the audience was: "Just to assure everyone, your bro is very well, your bro's 'bro' is also very well."
After Dylan's cheeky greeting, he received loud cheers from everyone, which left him blushing.
"At first, he was just saying this in a carefree and natural manner, but as everyone started cheering for him, he became embarrassed and started blushing all the way from his face to his neck and chest. He was so cute," she said.
While Dylan did not say it explicitly, it was understood he was addressing a rumour that emerged in mid-September claiming he had undergone a failed genital enlargement procedure.
His studio released a statement on Sept 16 denying the allegations and threatened legal action, adding that a legal team had been engaged to handle the case and urged the public to refrain from spreading false information.
Dylan, who debuted in Chinese showbiz in 2017, is best known for his performance in dramas including Meteor Garden (2018), Love Between Fairy and Devil (2022) and Guardians of the Dafeng (2024).
He last visited Singapore in February to celebrate his streetwear fashion brand D.Desirable's first pop-up store outside China.
In August, he was spotted in Kuala Lumpur's new shopping mall Chinatown 1974, reportedly inspecting his first D.Desirable physical store outside China.
His episode of Hello Saturday is estimated to air in late October.
