BTS fans have been known for doing some wild things.

Such as spending more than $100,000 on plastic surgery to look like one of the members, or standing in a line for concert tickets five days before they go on sale.

One mystery superfan in Korea however, made the choice to etch a permanent homage to BTS member Jungkook on their body, by tattooing a scene from his solo music video on his/her bicep.

The Seoul-based tattoo artist behind the piece, Saegeem, posted pictures of the incredible artwork on Instagram Monday (Jan 7).

The much-lauded post has since amassed over 40,000 likes and more than 1,000 comments.

One commenter wrote, "I'm coming to you to get my first tattoo I swear", while another said, "That is crazy good!!! ?? Might have to add that on my list when I go to South Korea this year."

The tattoo in question was inspired by the BTS music video titled

", where a yellow jacket-clad Jungkook stands in the back of a pickup truck with his arms spread wide open.

So realistic is the tattoo that it has been compared to a photograph, with some fans stating their wish to get something similar for themselves.

According to a report on TeenVogue, it appears Saegeem is a female tattoo artist based in Seoul, and from her arsenal of work, it seems like customers may be spoilt for choice.

On the Instagram account where Saegeem's work is posted, mini re-creations of Claude Monet’s water lilies, Vincent Van Gogh’s “Starry Night,” Edgar Degas’ ballerinas, and more have been uploaded.

Prepare to be awed:

Exquisitely detailed, the portrait-like tattoos have been praised for their intricate nature and realism.
