Kingdom star Kento Yamazaki would love to visit Singapore again

It may be his first time here but it seems our sunny island has made quite the impression on Japanese actor Kento Yamazaki who confessed that he would love to visit again.

Kento, 24, is known for his roles as L in the live-action television adaptation of Death Note and as the lead in the Japanese remake of South Korean medical drama Good Doctor.

And he swung by Singapore last month to promote his upcoming movie Kingdom.

Kingdom is the live-action adaptation of the manga series of the same name, which started in 2006 and has since sold more than 30 million paperback volumes, spawning a two-season anime series.

Aside from his love for Singapore, Kento also offered some insights on his character and his experience filming the action sequences.

Oh, and he casually revealed that the manga author wrote an original scene for the movie.
