Super Junior's youngest member Cho Kyuhyun has finally completed his military service, returning the group to its full lineup after years of waiting.

The singer ended his service on Tuesday (May 7) and greeted waiting fans outside the Seongbuk Welfare Center for the Blind where he was discharged.

He also took to Instagram to greet fans around the world, marking his return with a message to ELFs, the fanclub name of the band.

In a translation by Soompi, he shared, "Civilian Kyu, on my way home. Please look forward to the music and concerts that we will share together in the future! My singing has gotten better!

"Please also look forward to Super Junior’s full reunion! I really like photo apps these days, haha. I am going to sleep so well tonight, sleep about 10 hours, sleep until noon! When I wake up, I’m going to laze around for two hours!"

The idol also jumped onto a short Instagram live to greet ELFs on his way home. During which, he took the opportunity to thank fans who showed up in spite of his request for a quiet discharge.

The 31-year-old also expressed his disappointment that he could only wave and smile at them before going back but acknowledged their patience in awaiting the return of Super Junior as a complete group.
