Of course, the Taiwanese singer-actress has amassed a fortune of her own, but in 2014, she married Sean Lee, CEO of Singapore-listed logistics company, Marco Polo Marine which was founded by his father. Vivian and Sean started dating after meeting on the set of the romantic comedy “Sex Agogo” which he had invested in. Things were not always smooth sailing for Vivian. Two years ago, Marco Polo Marine encountered financial difficulties due to a slump in oil prices and an ongoing legal case with Sembcorp Marine. Sean revealed that he had occasional mood swings at home when he encountered setbacks in his business.

Despite that, Vivian stood by her husband and was previously reported to take on more jobs to alleviate her family’s financial situation. When rumours that her hubby is on the verge of bankruptcy surfaced, Vivian responded to the rumours saying, “It’s okay even if we’re broke. It’s not a big deal and we’ll be penniless at worst – we were born into this world with nothing anyway”.
