Xixi Lim reveals 2-room condo rental home, has another wardrobe at storage space

PUBLISHED ONOctober 14, 2026 8:18 AMBYYeo Shu HuiXixi Lim recently revealed her rented two-room condominium apartment in the latest episode of the YouTube show Kaypoh Room Tour released on Oct 13.
The 38-year-old local actress-host called her 660 sq ft home "very small but also very mighty".
She declined to say the exact amount she's paying for the rent, putting it between $3,000 and $3,500, adding she believed it's the best option considering the location — which is not revealed — and the convenience in getting to work.
When asked by actress-host Amy Ang on why she decided to rent, Xixi shared: "I stayed with my aunt and uncle for a very long time. But as my workload got heavier, I realised (my schedule) actually ate into their private time.
"That was when I realised it was about time I have my own personal space."
Xixi's home is decorated with a black-and-white theme, which she explained is the "easiest" colour to work with.
"You will never go wrong, you know. If you want to colour-match a little bit here and there, black and white is something that I feel I'm more confident in," she added.
In Xixi's favourite space, which is the living room, she displayed her first Star Awards Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes trophy from 2024, as well as a plaque for hosting the National Day Parade 2026.
She also showcased her beige two-seater sofa, bought from Chinese shopping platform Taobao for about $1,000, that can be extended to a spacious daybed.
Next to it is a "big iPad", which Xixi explained is a "roving television" that she could push closer to her dining table while having her meals.
While looking for an apartment, the toilet is an important consideration for her.
"This is actually my non-negotiable when I was looking for a space because to me, the toilet is very important. So, the moment I searched for a home, my priority was to look at the bathroom, see how it's like, whether it's clean and well-maintained before I decide if I want to rent the space," she said.
She also showed her wardrobe in her bedroom, which is compartmentalised to keep the clothes she wears often.
Xixi added: "When we go for events, hosting and appearances, we need to appear in different outfits or the theme they are having, so [my wardrobe here] is only a part of it.
"I have more clothes at a storage area which is just five minutes away from my place. So most of the clothes for performances and those that I don't need every day, it's all stored there."
She shared that while it was "very scary" moving out to live on her own, she remained positive.
Xixi explained: "When you start packing, you ask yourself, 'Is this the correct decision? Am I doing this right?' You are on your own. No one is going to help you.
"Changes can be scary, but it can be interesting and fun too."
She added she has plans to buy her own home eventually and is looking for a suitable place now.
