With an impressive lineup of 101 independent films from 55 countries for its 33rd edition this year, the Singapore International Film Festival is back with a bang. Featuring narratives and experiences from all over the world while fostering a deeper appreciation of cinema, SGIFF sees 23 Singaporean films, of which three will be screened for the first time.
They include Before Life After Death, directed by filmmaker Anshul Tiwari; Boom, directed by film and theatre producer Derrick Chew; and Absent Smile, by visual artists John and Lavender Chang. Visitors can also look forward to Virtual Reality experiences, special presentations, and forums with industry experts.
