Over 1.7 million views: Johor Crown Prince's playful video with white tiger cub goes viral

A playful encounter between Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail and a white tiger cub has caught the attention of social media users, with many charmed by the unusual interaction.
In a video uploaded to Tunku Ismail's Instagram (IG) account on Tuesday (Sept 29), he can be seen interacting with a white tiger cub while riding a personal mobility device known as a "Skudamodo" inside an enclosure, reported Oriental Daily on Wednesday.
The video has since garnered more than 1.7 million views as of Thursday.
Set to the song Hakuna Matata, the footage shows the white tiger cub chasing after Tunku Ismail's Skudamodo around the enclosure, while several horses are visible in the background, suggesting the footage may have been filmed at an equestrian facility.
The location where the video was shot was not disclosed in the post, which was captioned simply: "Luna", suggesting that this is the white tiger cub's name.
The interaction between the pair delighted netizens.
"Out of all your flexes, Your Highness, that is the best one yet. Super cool," commented one. Others simply reacted with "Aww… so cute!"
Another IG user wrote: "Your Highness, you're always rare… white tiger… your tiger aura. That's why it's tame."
Interestingly, Tunku Ismail has previously likened himself to a tiger.
In 2018, when he announced his resignation as president of the Football Association of Malaysia, he said: "I am like a tiger who should not be working for sheep because tigers and sheep cannot sit together."
"Tigers need to work with tigers," he said, according to Malaysiakini's report.
