Caltex mirrors Esso's hike, raises diesel price by 10 cents


Caltex increased its diesel price by 10 cents on Thursday (April 2) morning, charting a fourth consecutive day of fuel hikes in Singapore.
Its posted price of diesel is now $4.23, with some slight changes to its petrol prices.
This means that Caltex has joined Esso and Shell in leading the price charts for diesel at $4.23, with SPC offering the lowest price at $3.92, followed by Sinopec's $3.93.

Oil prices climbed more than US$4 (S$5.15) on Thursday after President Donald Trump said the US would continue to attack Iran, including energy and oil targets over the next few weeks, and did not commit to a specific timeline to end the war.
Brent crude futures rose US$4.88, or 4.8 per cent, to US$106.04 per barrel by 2am GMT (10am SGT).
