Esso mirrors Shell's hike, raises diesel price by 10 cents

But it was not to be as Esso mirrored Shell's Tuesday hike to raise its diesel price by 10 cents on Wednesday afternoon, kicking off a third consecutive day of fuel hikes in Singapore.
Before Wednesday, Esso posted an increase to its diesel price on Monday, raising it by 20 cents, to $4.13.
Its posted price of diesel is now $4.23, with no change to its petrol prices.
Both Esso and Shell now lead the price charts for diesel, with SPC offering the lowest price at $3.92, followed by Sinopec's $3.93.
Caltex holds the middle ground at $4.13 per litre.

Oil prices fell briefly below US$100 on Wednesday before rebounding to nearly US$102 at the time of this article's publication.
This comes as US President Donald Trump said the US could end its military attacks on Iran within two to three weeks and Tehran did not have to make a deal as a condition for the conflict to wind down.
