This happened on the same day that a police vehicle caught fire on the BKE towards Woodlands, on a slip road towards the SLE.
Two traffic police officers were patrolling when they noticed smoke emitting from their vehicle's engine compartment and evacuated immediately.
The SCDF extinguished the fire, and the two officers were taken to the hospital due to smoke inhalation.
