PM Lee to deliver National Day Rally speech on Sunday

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will deliver his National Day Rally 2015 speech on Sunday, August 23 at ITE Headquarters and College Central.

PM Lee will speak in Malay and Mandarin at 6.45pm to 7.30pm and in English from 8pm to 10pm.

In addition to local TV channels and radio stations, the National Day Rally will be broadcast live at www.youtube.com/pmosingapore and www.ndr.sg. Sign language interpretation will be provided for the live stream.

The Rally will also be live-streamed on government feedback unit Reach's website (www.reach.gov.sg/nationaldayrally2015).

Reach said that Singaporeans can share their views on the Rally while it is happening "live," on its website. It will also be organising several sessions to gather feedback after the Rally, including a public forum, a Facebook question-and-answer session and radio talk shows.

In a statement on Monday, the Prime Minister's Office urged citizens who want more information on Government policies over the past year to watch videos on Healthcare, Housing, Education, Transport, Quality of Life and Cost of Living at www.gov.sg.

They can also read live updates on the Rally at PM Lee's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/leehsienloong) and Twitter account (www.twitter.com/leehsienloong) as the speech is delivered, and join the conversation online by including the #ndrsg hashtag in posts and tweets.

Those who miss the live broadcast of PM Lee's speech may watch it at www.youtube.com/pmosingapore from August 24.
