Self-help kiosks for lodging police reports and found property drop boxes at Neighbourhood Police Centres (NPCs) and Neighbourhood Police Posts (NPPs) will be temporarily unavailable for two hours on Monday (Aug 24) night.

Police said in a statement on Facebook that the downtime — from 11pm on Monday to 1am on Tuesday — is due to a scheduled system maintenance.

Those who need to lodge a report can do so online via the Electronic Police Centre on the police's website.

Found property can still be returned at the nearest manned NPC.

Members of the public who require urgent police assistance can call 999 or the police hotline at 1800-255-0000.
