The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) has recalled Arla Protein Salted Caramel Flavour Pudding (200g) over the potential presence of glass fragments.

In a media release on Monday (Oct 26), SFA noted that the Food Standards Australia New Zealand has issued a notification on the product recall.

The agency said that it has directed the importer Trade-Pro Food Distribution to recall the implicated product as a precautionary measure, adding that the recall is ongoing.

Details provided to the media on the affected product shows it has a "best before" date of April 28, 2027.

Consumers who have purchased the affected product should not consume it, SFA said.

Those who have consumed the product and have concerns about their health should seek medical attention.

They may also approach their point of purchase for enquiries.

Under the Sale of Food Act, foods known to be unsafe for consumption should not be sold.
