The TikTok livestreaming pair at the centre of a recent controversy has appeared to mock the backlash against them, with one of the streamers offering a sarcastic apology before telling critics to "wait long long" for a real one.

Winnie Heng and Vadalene Eng, who run the TikTok account @vedawinfam, came under fire after a livestream in which Heng launched into a string of vulgarities at customers whom the pair accused of cancelling orders after their livestream ended.

The latest response came during another livestream by the pair, clips of which were shared in two posts by Instagram page @sgspilltea on Monday (Aug 17).

'You wait long long'

In one of the videos shared by @sgspilltea, Heng holds a tissue to her face while pretending to cry, telling viewers in English: "I shouldn't have cursed them from the bottom of my heart."

The remark appears to reference her earlier rant, in which she had told customers: "I curse you from the bottom of my heart. From the bottom of Winnie Heng's heart."

Eng appears to comfort her as Heng continues the mock apology.

Heng then adds, in a mix of Mandarin and dialect: "You wait long long for limpeh (Hokkien for 'your father') to say sorry."

She repeats: "You wait long long."

In the other video by @sgspilltea, Heng appears to apologise in Mandarin, saying she should not have scolded the customers who cancelled their orders while pretending to wipe away tears.

"I should have gone back to hit a voodoo doll, why did I scold them?" she says.

But Heng then abruptly drops the act and turns serious.

"That's what they want to see," she says, apparently referring to those who had criticised her behaviour.

She goes on to mock the idea of apologising, saying that she would not do so and that she was too stubborn to care about her critics.

Eng later joins her in the video, with the pair proclaiming themselves to be Singapore's best livestreamers.

The pair had drawn criticism earlier after a livestream in which they unleashed a string of vulgarities at customers who had allegedly cancelled orders at around 3am.

The pair later defended their reaction, arguing that the cancellations had denied other customers the opportunity to purchase the items.
