Residents in Yishun and Sembawang can soon look forward to another transport option when bus service 861C begins operation on Oct 13.
Operated by Tower Transit Singapore, the short-trip service will start from Sembawang bus interchange and terminate at bus stop 59201 — along Yishun Avenue 6, opposite Chongfu Primary School.
The service will ply a total of 14 bus stops, including the starting and ending stops:
- Sembawang Interchange (Bus stop 58009)
- Before Sembawang MRT station, Canberra Road (Bus stop 58151)
- Block 589D, Canberra Link (Bus stop 58331)
- Block 590C, Sembawang Road (Bus stop 58041)
- Block 592C, Sembawang Road (Bus stop 58051)
- Block 104C, Canberra Street (Bus stop 58511)
- Block 106A, Canberra Street (Bus stop 58521)
- Block 126 carpark, Canberra Street (Bus stop 58621)
- Block 129A, Canberra Way (Bus stop 58531)
- Opposite Canberra MRT station, Canberra Link (Bus stop 58541)
- Opposite Yishun Emerald, Yishun Avenue 2 (Bus stop 59529)
- Yishun Industrial Park A, Yishun Avenue 7 (Bus stop 59229)
- Opposite Block 288, Yishun Avenue 7 (Bus stop 59219)
- Opposite Chongfu Primary School (Bus stop 59021)
The service will only operate during the morning peak period on weekdays, excluding public holidays.
