GE2025: ‘I want to be elected on my own merit’: Labour chief Ng Chee Meng to contest in new Jalan Kayu SMC
The People’s Action Party (PAP) has announced that National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) Secretary-General Ng Chee Meng will be contesting in the newly formed Jalan Kayu Single Member Constituency (SMC).
The 56-year-old, who led the PAP’s Sengkang team in the 2020 General Election but lost to the Workers’ Party (WP), has been actively engaging with residents in Fernvale and Jalan Kayu over the past few weeks.
