Local actor Brian Ng and his wife Natasha Cheng are now a family of three.

He announced the birth of his baby girl in an Instagram post today (Sept 9) with four photos, writing: "Ladies and gents, she's here!

"It's been about a week since my world changed forever, and already there's been a rollercoaster of joy, worry, anxiety and wonder. But my heart has never been fuller."

He added that the excitement and support from those around them have been immense and that they could not be more grateful.

One photo showed the infant dressed in grey with text that reads "New to the crew", while another photo zoomed in on her feet.

"The feet that have been terrorising mummy for months, aka the feet that will score the Women's Champions League goal for United in 20 years' time," Brian, who's in his 30s, joked.

"Welcome to the family boo. Love, your desperately-in-need-of-sleep dad and your champ of a mama who did so well bringing you into our lives."

Local celebrities flooded the comments with congratulatory messages and well-wishes, including Chantalle Ng, Priscelia Chan, Tasha Low, Jernelle Oh, Charlie Goh and Kenneth Chung.

Actress Ferlyn Wong wrote: "Wah congrats! Your new dumbbells for the next few years!"

Brian first announced the pregnancy through an Instagram post on April 22.

He revealed in a press release that same day that he and Cheng had found out about her pregnancy in December last year.

He admitted that he had his fair share of worries in the first trimester about both his baby and his wife, but was more excited than anything else for this new chapter in life.

Brian debuted as a child actor, starring in Kids Central's shows such as We Are R.E.M. and Heartlanders.

He was also in the Channel 8 dramas Perfectly Imperfect (2025) and Last But Not Least (2026). His first international microdrama project Romance by the Sea, starring Filipino actress Samantha Panlilio, began streaming on May 22.

He currently appears in the 65-episode drama Yes Captain! as Assistant Superintendent of Police Ong Jia Heng.
