Family in Malaysia tapes child to the floor so dad can WFH in peace

Kids are a bundle of joy. Until you've got an important Zoom meeting with your boss' boss and they just can't seem to sit still, that is.

Which is why this family quite literally, taped their young daughter down.

In a series of photos shared on Facebook, a mess of toys and an overturned chair can be seen scattered across the room, a young girl lies in the middle of it all, held down by clear adhesive tape with a pillow to cushion her head.

Meanwhile, her dad in the background clacks away on his laptop.

"Mum is cooking, dad is working, daughter is lying in the living room," her Thai mother wrote in her post.

The child, if anything, seems pretty contented with the arrangement, if her expression is anything to go by.

Toys 'R' Us online sends shopper a mystery gift… of toilet paper?

Forget cellphones, toilet paper's the hot commodity while we're all stuck at home, so much so that our toilet paper buying frenzy sparked the creation of toilet paper roll cakes.

Except, a roll of toilet paper wasn't exactly what Singapore dad Mike Tang had expected to receive when he bought an inflatable pool and an archery set from Toys 'R' Us for his kids.

In his screenshot, a curious mystery gift was included in his delivery. The following photos show his unboxing process, pulling out a blue Toys 'R' Us parcel that was no doubt the said mystery gift.

Well, at least it's useful.

Chimpanzee in Thai zoo dons facemask while disinfecting the premises

With humans stuck at home practising social distancing, someone's got to do the job, right?

So after putting on a pair of pants and shrugging on a floral shirt, it's off to work for this Chimpanzee.

The six-year-old then rode a bicycle around his workplace — Samut Prakan Crocodile Farm and Zoo — with a tank of disinfectant on his back while his colleague sprayed the surrounding areas.

They later swapped roles, the chimp ambling down the corridor while spraying disinfectant.

He was wearing a face mask and a face shield, of course, because #safetyfirst.
