While berthed there, Singaporeans based in Japan and locals can get a "free gangway".
Free gangway is a naval and maritime term, typically meant for sailors and crew members who are not on duty to transit the gangway freely for their leave and other activities.
In a series of social media posts between Aug 2 and Aug 13 (Thursday), RSN said that those who register for the visits will get to explore the warship and experience Singaporean food.

On its registration portal, two slots — 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 5pm — are available on each day.
A maximum booking of eight people can be made for each registration.
According to RSN, the port of call and hosted visits are in commemoration of the 60th year of bilateral relations between Singapore and Japan.
Ahead of the three-day visit to Japan on March 17, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong said in an op-ed for Japanese publication Nikkei that the Singapore-Japan relationship has evolved significantly over the past 60 years, adding that it serves as a strong foundation for navigating an uncertain global landscape.
He noted that bilateral relations began with Singapore receiving assistance and investments from Japan, but has since evolved into one that is multifaceted and mutually beneficial.
Singapore appointed its first defence attache to Japan in July, with Colonel (COL) Edwin Chen Weiren assuming the non-resident role.
In a Facebook post on July 21, Japan's embassy in Singapore said the appointment in this milestone year is a significant development, symbolising a new chapter in bilateral defence cooperation.
"It is hoped that this appointment will serve as a catalyst for further strengthening and expanding defence cooperation between Japan and Singapore," the Japanese embassy added.
COL Chen graduated from the National Defence Academy of Japan in 2006 as an international cadet. He is also a classmate of Japan's defence attache to Singapore, Captain Torri.
RSS Steadfast participated in a high-end naval warfare training along with 30 other navies at Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2026.
It was held in the waters off Hawaii from June 25 to Aug 1.
During the exercise, RSS Steadfast led a multinational group sail, comprising ships from the Italian, Philippines navies and the Philippines Coast Guard, while sailing from the east of Philippines to Guam.
It also led a task unit, comprising three other navy ships from the Philippines and the US, during a series of complex multi-dimensional warfare serials.
During Exercise RIMPAC, RSS Steadfast also successfully fired a surface-to-air missile against a high-speed sea-skimming aerial drone, which was used to simulate an inbound missile.
Commissioned on Feb 5, 2008, RSS Steadfast has been away from Singapore for some time now.
